Temptation / Test of Endurance

TEMPTATION

INTRO:
There is nothing new under the sun. The temptation of the enemy is to create an overwhelming desire to do something contrary to what the word of God says. This is what we call entice, push, almost forcing a person to manifest the work of the flesh, so you sow in the flesh and reap corruption. Remember these demons are enticing you to move out of God’s time into temptation of a selfish ambition to access your soul, and separate you from God.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Continue to speak your prayers and kingdom card daily.

KEY ELEMENTS:

  • We disobey because we lack understanding of truth.
  • Every temptation brings a test to the heart. God wants to show us what rebellion is still in us towards God.
  • It is our desires that leads us astray.
  • Coming against God’s leaders is tempting God, and doubting God’s word is tempting God.
  • If we are right with the Lord, He will not let us be overtaken by temptation and will provide a way of escape.
  • Three of the most powerful words the devil tempts you with: 1. I can’t 2. But I 3. What if

TEST OF ENDURANCE

INTRO:
To endure is the place where we press in while a storm of the enemy is attacking. It is also a place where we wait on God for an answer. Endurance is also patience. We are tested to see if we are moved by our feelings, storms, or circumstances. We endure because we trust Him, and we wait because He sees it all.

INSTRUCTIONS:

KEY ELEMENTS:

  • When you know God, you begin to know what he is doing next.

  • The testing of endurance, removes the shakable things in your life and allows the unshakable things to remain.
  • People struggle because they do things in their own strength and seek to have control.
