SPIRITUAL OPPRESSION
INTRO:
The spirit of oppression is also called the spirit of heaviness. This spirit promotes discouragement, unworthiness, sickness, suicide, addiction, and fear. This spirit also puts a person in bondage with demonic oppression. Alcohol and oppressive medications don’t help this; it only prolongs the feelings of being distant. This spirit must be removed and replaced with the Holy Spirit, the word of God, and the love of God.

- The spirit of oppression attacks the mind and emotions to make rash (hasty) decisions associated with anxiety. (Unable to wait on the Lord)
- The spiritual root of oppression is offense.
- Offense also causes sickness to your body.

As a believer and follower of Jesus the Christ, it is important to always remove the natural circumstances, in order to move into the supernatural arena. The enemy and ruler of this world, satan, and his kingdom like to keep people in the maze of the matrix by building walls of deception to keep us from the spiritual place of living. Break through the natural into the spiritual, so the supernatural can manifest.

- Freedom is learned, trust is earned.
- People lose heart because they have taken their eyes off the Lord and put them on themselves or others.
- If you are seeing what is not seen (seeing spiritually), you are going beyond the natural.
- The only way you overcome is by breaking through the natural so that supernatural is manifested.
- You can only do the will of God by fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. If we don’t practice the truth, then we can’t fellowship with the Spirit of Truth.
- The purpose of our trials is to expose our enemy.
- Walking in darkness means walking under the rule of satan’s kingdom.
