(Eph 4:26-32) Be angry, and do not sin… Let all bitterness, anger, wrath, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you…
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus and ask You to release forgiveness, mercy, and grace in my life. Please show me the path of righteousness and snare my enemies in their nets, while I escape safely. I have been critical of others and unable to see the pride and fear in my life that has been hidden and protected by anger, rage, and bitterness. I have found myself reacting to circumstances instead of responding as a new man. Help me as I choose to forgive and bless all those who have offended, hurt, abused or rejected me, and all who have spoken ill of me. I am in need of Your presence and anointing to deliver me from the root of anger that has entered my life. Your covenant word is faithful to the end. I take authority, standing on Your promises, and bind every spirit of anger in me, attached to me, or influencing me, and cast them to the pit. I sever myself from the emotional attachments, habits, memories and strongholds associated with the spirit of anger, in Jesus’ name. I decree, I am filled with the Holy Spirit and am a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have been made new. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
